Beijing Hot Pot faced the challenge of increasing visibility, engagement, and traffic to their restaurant amidst a highly competitive market for Chinese cuisine. Despite having a great offering, they struggled to stand out in search results and attract the right audience. Their marketing efforts required a fresh strategy that could effectively target and engage potential customers.
The Solution
To address this challenge, we implemented a comprehensive Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization strategy, which was paired with a targeted Social Media Advertising (SMA) campaign. The GBP strategy focused on updating and enhancing the restaurant’s profile to improve visibility in local search results. Meanwhile, the SMA campaign, which included both static and reel ads, was designed to engage users on Facebook and Instagram. This combined approach not only enhanced the profile’s searchability but also ensured that potential customers were exposed to highly engaging ads.
The Results
As a result of this partnership, Beijing Hot Pot experienced a substantial increase in both search visibility and user engagement across platforms. Their business profile interactions rose to 3,889 (+290.1% compared to the previous year), with 36,626 people viewing their profile (+668.8%). The restaurant saw a 23,083 increase in searches showing their profile in search results (+598.4%). The campaign's digital ads garnered a total of 87,338 impressions and 37,079 total reach, with 1,184 clicks, proving the effectiveness of the strategy. Additionally, the social media ads generated 786 clicks on Facebook and 397 clicks on Instagram.
