Challenge
The Work Massage needed to increase visibility and capture high-intent local search traffic while also building awareness on social media to drive more bookings.
Results
The combined Google Business Profile and Social Media Advertising strategy significantly increased visibility, generating 2,781 profile views, 918 searches, and 2,257 clicks while reaching over 49,000 impressions.
About the Business
The Work Massage was established in 2021 by Licensed Massage Therapist John Tanner. This appointment only business is located within Kestner Health + Wellness. Therapists at this location specialize in targeting and eliminating issues through clinical massage. This business also offers various massage modalities for relaxation purposes. The Work Massage is a good choice for clients who are looking to restore range of motion, balance the body and reduce pain. The Challenge
The Work Massage needed to increase visibility in a highly competitive local market where potential clients are actively searching for services like “massage near me” and “massage nashville.” While there was clear demand, the business was not fully capturing that search traffic or converting awareness into booked appointments. In addition, they needed a way to stay top of mind with potential customers outside of search, especially on social platforms where users discover and engage with local businesses.
The Solution
To address this, we implemented a dual-channel strategy combining Google Business Profile optimization with targeted social media advertising. GBP was optimized to improve visibility for high-intent local searches, ensuring The Work Massage appeared more frequently for relevant keywords and map results. At the same time, we launched Meta ad campaigns using a mix of reels and static creatives designed to engage users, build trust, and drive traffic to the website. This approach allowed the business to capture demand through search while also generating new interest and awareness through social media.
The Results
The combined strategy delivered strong growth across both channels within February 2026. Google Business Profile performance increased significantly, with 2,781 profile views, a 51.1% increase, and 918 searches, up 26.3%, driven by high-intent keywords like “massage near me.” On the paid social side, campaigns generated 49,298 impressions, reached 18,321 users, and drove 2,257 link clicks with a 4.58% click-through rate and a low cost per click of $0.44. Together, these efforts increased overall visibility, drove qualified traffic, and positioned The Work Massage to capture more bookings from both search and social audiences.
